An experienced real estate professional during a 27 + year career, Helena believes in 100% commitment to her clients. Her real estate success is the result of market knowledge, experience, integrity and hard work. Her trademark is the individual attention and service she provides each of her clients.

Helena was born in Lund, Sweden, where she was raised and received her formal education. She has a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance, she speaks 4 different languages (plus all the Nordic languages as well) and she is an active member of the International Section of the National Association of Realtors. She worked for an international organization in Geneva, Switzerland for a couple of years and moved to Hawaii in 1973 where she developed, financed and managed her own successful small business in the wholesale clothing industry.

In 1980 Helena joined Conley Dew Ltd and a year later she obtained her Broker’s license. During her 27+ years with the company (now Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties) she received every top performance award given, including the highest consistent sales award over a 10-year period.

Helena is a member of Coldwell Banker’s International President’s Circle. She also is a designated Coldwell Banker Previews Specialist (certified to market exceptional homes in the upper-end market). Even though an experienced agent in the high-end market, one of her greatest joys is trying to help young people realize their dreams of home ownership.

Education has always played an important role in Helena’s life. She makes it a priority to keep informed about the latest trends in financing, real estate law, sales techniques etc. She has earned several professional designations, among them the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and the even more hard to obtain designation CIPS, Certified International Property Specialist.

Helena lives in Kahala with her husband Bob. Bob was a physics professor at the University of Hawaii for 35 before he retired and decided to help and assist Helena. Bob and Helena work as a team, giving their clients the extra level of service that is both Helena’s and Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties’ trademark. Their children are presently scattered around the world in Switzerland, California, North Carolina – and (fortunately) also one still in Hawaii.

Helena’s interests (other than real estate) include physical fitness, traveling, music (especially opera) and knitting (those grandchildren in Switzerland need warm sweaters…)
